Brennan Panziera

SCHOOL: Catholic Central

Brennan Panziera is an incredibly well-rounded grade 12 student from Catholic Central High School. Athletics, music, and volunteering are passions and gifts that he brings to CCH and to his community each day. Athletics, both individual and team sports, have always been an important part of Brennan’s life. He has competed at the WOSSA level in varsity hockey, volleyball, golf, curling, and badminton and was awarded the CCH Male Athlete of the year for the past two years. Throughout his athletic career at CCH, and in the community, Brennan has been a key component in the successes of his teams, puck stopping for numerous International Silver Stick and OMHA titles.

Brennan excels academically, being named to the Honour roll in each of his high school years and most recently having completed a Specialist High Skills Major in the Leaders in Exercise and Athletics Program. He is an accomplished violinist, currently acting as Concert Master for his Senior Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra and as lead violinist in CRU (CCH rock band). He is a long-standing member of Forest City Talent Education String Program and in his spare time enjoys playing the cello, piano, guitar and ukulele. He was awarded the Highest mark in String and the Outstanding Performer award in String at CCH. Volunteer work is second nature to Brennan.

Growing up with an older brother with Down Syndrome has taught him the value of giving back to others. Brennan is a certified Ski coach for Track 3, Special Needs Ski Program and a Special Olympics Golf Coach for his brother and other Special Olympians. He also volunteers for the Music Ministry at St. George Parish, the CCH Vocal program as featured soloist, and at a plethora of sports volunteer opportunities all enabling him to bring his passion for sports to kids in the community. Brennan is proud to represent Catholic Central High School and is acutely aware of the role that TVCC has played in the life of his brother and in that of many other amazing young people.
